I undertake artwork commissions for individuals and businesses.

If there is a place that holds significance in your life, you might be interested in commissioning an original art print for yourself or as a gift. Whether it is your home or an iconic public building or the place where you got married, I can create something personal for you.

Places hold stories and I love to capture these for my clients in original artwork so they can be reminded of them daily in their homes.

How to commission an original print

First step is to get in touch, we will discuss what you would like form the artwork and work together to create an original print you will love. Tell me about the the place you would like me to draw, do you already have a size in mind? would you like a colour artwork or the simplicity of a black line drawing?
Consider what your budget is for the artwork. Every project is different, I will be creating your artwork from scratch, therefore I will create a custom quote for your project.

During the Project

Throughout the project I will send you draft sketches and updates as the artwork develops. I invite you to give feedback and input into the creation of your print. You will sign off on the final 'artwork proof' before it goes to print. You will receive a signed print in limited edition, printed and framed to your specifications.

Frequently  Asked Questions

Here are some step by step details of the commissioning process once the quote has been created and accepted
• We agree the form the commission will take and the budget.
• to confirm the commission 50% of the fee is to be paid before work begins.
• During the project I send draft/progress sketches
• I will send you the final 'proof' for sign off
• When signed off the remainder of the fee is paid
• Artwork is printed and signed and framed if specified.
• The print is ready for collection or delivery

What is the cost?
The drawings are made from scratch for the commission, I work out the cost based on the time it takes to create the artwork and then add the costs of materials so to give an accurate price, I will create a custom quote for each project based on the above.
If the drawing is very complex then it will take longer to draw the detail and convert to print and therefore cost more, even if you choose a small size or unframed print. In the quote I can tell you the cost for both framed and unframed artwork and different sizes.
